Parents Guide to the Transition from High School to College

AIM Academy will welcome Ms. Elizabeth Hamblet, a Learning Disabilities Specialist from Columbia University to discuss successful high school to college transitions.

As parents, the goal we all have is in finding that perfect fit college or university experience that will prepare our students to further explore and master their passion and prepare for a fulfilling career. The process of college selection, academic preparation for college, college entrance and the tools needed for college completion seem overwhelming for students who learn differently.

We urge you to attend this no-excuses, no-holds barred conversation with Elizabeth Hamblet. She lays out the expectations in a way that there can be no misinterpretation of what the role of parents requires as we guide the path for our students.
