The body of slain Plymouth Police Officer Bradley Fox was transfered to Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home on Germantown Pike in East Norriton today via a procession of police and emergency vehicles. Patch reader Kathy Walsh was on hand to photograph several legs of the procession and agreed to share her photos. We're asking other readers to share their photos from any memorials for Officer Fox. This tragedy has touched many of us and as much as we may want to, we can't all attend every ceremony. With our readers help, maybe we can all feel a little closer to the rest of the community who are grieving the loss of a good man. The following is a joint statement by the Montgomery County Commissioners on the tragic shooting death of Plymouth Police Office Bradley Fox: "We are deeply saddened by the death of Plymouth Police Office Brad Fox. This senseless act tragically reminds us that, even in a place like Montgomery County, when our law enforcement personnel go to work every day they put their lives on the line for all of us. "Officer Fox served our country as a Marine in Iraq and came home to continue to serve us as a police officer in Plymouth Township. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife and family and also to his fellow officers in Plymouth Township who must now grapple with the sorrow of this horrible tragedy."

M-Th 9-5, Fri 9-6] A Plymouth Township Police officer was killed in the line of duty Thursday. Bradley Fox, 34, a K9 officer and seven-year veteran of the force, was shot in the head at about 6:00 p.m. by an unidentified suspect in the vicinity of Conshohocken Road and Ernest Station Road, near the Schuylkill River Trail. The suspect, whom Fox had been pursuing following a hit-and-run accident, was also killed. It is unclear who fired those fatal shots.
