Plymouth FC raises funds for injured firefighter while Washington FC looks to "knock out" leukemia.
Two local fire companies are holding fundraisers Friday night, with one aiming to help an injured member and another joining the fight against cancer. As reported by Colonial News, the Plymouth Fire Company is hosting a fundraiser from 7-11 p.m. Friday to raise funds for injured firefighter Kyle Stamm. Stamm, a volunteer and Plymouth township resident, suffered a stroke as he was leaving the scene of a fire in April. The 38-year-old Stamm has been through a number of financial and physical hardships since the incident, including the loss of his job, Colonial News reported.
