No April Showers Anytime Soon

April has started out dry and will continue this trend for the entire week

It seems like a tradition to expect dark, gloomy and wet weather during April, but this year has been rebelling against all types of typical weather.  This week will be one to take advantage of, as a cooler air mass blocks any type of bad weather. The temperatures will be seasonably comfortable with chilly late nights and mornings. Today started out relatively mild for a typical early-April morning at around 50 degrees. Partly cloudy skies will decrease to mostly sunny conditions as the afternoon rolls around. The high temperature will soar up into the upper 60s. Winds will increase from the northwest initially at 5 to 10 mph, then blowing at 12 to 16 mph.
