Wissahickon Environmental Center
215-685-9285
The Wissahickon Environmental Center is located in what used to be a farmhouse. The farmhouse (which is called the Tree House because it had a tree growing through the front porch) features an aquarium filled with native fish species, various wildlife exhibits, a children's playroom and a mural of Wissahickon Valley. The center offers educational programs and various activities throughout the year. It also offers access to trails and the park. Call or visit the website for more information.
