The Wissahickon Environmental Center is located in what used to be a farmhouse. The farmhouse (which is called the Tree House because it had a tree growing through the front porch) features an aquarium filled with native fish species, various wildlife exhibits, a children's playroom and a mural of Wissahickon Valley.
