Lavenders Offering Discounted Massage for Canned Food Donation

Residents can enjoy a 20 percent discount just for donating food to the CDC.

Lavenders Body Clinic, of 814 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, has teamed up with the Colonial Neighborhood Council and Meals on Wheels of Conshohocken for a special promotion.

From now until July 21st, any resident who brings in a canned or dried good to the cupboard at the CNC will receive 20 percent off any massage. The CNC is located at 107 East 4th Avenue, and needs donations to ensure it doesn't go empty this summer.

Of particular necessity are cereal and breakfast items; chunky soups (no tomato);  canned food; pasta and sauce; and peanut butter and jelly.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
