Community Cupboard expecting 5,000 lbs. of food in Scouting for Food food drive by Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts held their annual Scouting for Food food drive, which benefits in Ambler.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts had placed plastic bags at residences around Wissahickon, as well as parts of Plymouth, Horsham, and Upper Dublin on Saturday, Nov. 12. On Saturday, Nov. 19, the scouts collected those bags and brought them to the community cupboard in Ambler.

Girl Scout troops sorted the food into bins for volunteers at the cupboard. They sorted bags into bins full of green beans, Thanksgiving items, soup, fruit, and more.
