Whitemarsh Baseball Names its Scholarship Award Winner

Patrick Cosgrave takes home this year's award.

 

The Whitemarsh Baseball Association early this week announced that Patrick Cosgrave, of Plymouth Meething, has received the 2013 Whitemarsh Baseball Association’s scholarship award. It is the association’s fifth annual scholarship award.

Cosgrave, a 2013 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, will begin the fall semester at Dickinson College where he will be majoring in political science.

All of the applicants were evaluated on their academics, activities and community service and an essay.

Cosgrave has demonstrated that hard work and discipline will pay dividends on and off the field.

The Whitemarsh Baseball Association is a nonprofit corporation founded in October 2007 by Michael and Diane Serratore. The association is committed to the development of youth baseball in Whitemarsh Township and the Colonial School district.
