GA Sports: Baseball Splits Double-Header in Maryland

Fall in wild 22-20 loss before blanking second opponent 7-0.

The Patriots traveled to Maryland on Saturday to play Calvert Hall and Notre Dame (Utica, NY). Against host Calvert Hall, the Patriots lost in heart-breaking fashion, 22-20. Calvert Hall hit a walk-off grand slam to seal the win.

GA pitcher Joe Taylor took the loss in game one.

After falling to Calvert Hall, the Patriots bounced back with an impressive 7-0 shutout victory over Notre Dame. GA pitcher Logan Sneed took a no-hitter into the seventh inning.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
