Run for Africa (RFA) is a 5k run/walk - scheduled for Saturday June 30, 2012 at the National Christian Conference Center on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) - near the historic Valley Forge National Park.

RFA is designed as a health & fitness, fundraiser and awareness campaign to support K-12 education and eradicate poverty in Africa and the Philadelphia region.

This year's event benefits The Liberian Education Initiative: Africa School of the Future (LEI) and Compassion Capital Investment Fund (CCI) -www.compassioncapitalfund.com. The CCI fund is a community development financial intermediary (CDFI) serving small enterprises in the Philadelphia region. It focuses on eradicating poverty through entrepreneurial self-reliance among low-to-moderate income populations.
