Conicelli Donates $20K to Replace Officer Fox’s K-9 Partner

Conicelli Toyota, of Plymouth Township, donated funds for the purchase and training of a new Plymouth PD dog.

Dom Conicelli, Sr. and Conicelli Toyota presented a $20,000 check to Plymouth Police Chief Joseph Lawrence at Monday’s township council meeting to replace Nick, the K-9 partner of fallen officer Brad Fox, according to the Times Herald.

Nick, who was with Fox when he was shot and killed on Sept. 13, has since retired and lives with the Fox family.

Fox’s widow, Lynsay, wants to assist in getting the dog, Lawrence said.  The county will also help.

Plymouth Police hope to select a dog and start training in the spring. Officer John Monaghan will be one-half of the K-9 partnership.
