Woman Allegedly Caught with Pot Brownies, Pot Raspberry Pastries, in Conshy
Anne Cook, of York, sold some illegal pastries, police say.
Conshohocken Police arrested a York woman late last month following an alleged drug deal; she was then found to have some illegal pastries in her Toyota Prius, the complaint alleges.
Anne Cook, of the 100 block of Clymer Street, was arrested Dec. 17 following a drug deal with a police informant in the 300 block of West Elm Street at about noon. According to police, the informant made arrangements with Cook to buy $400 worth of marijuana.
Following the transaction, which included a package of suspected marijuana and three suspected pot brownies, Cook, 58, was picked up on drug charges.

According to the complaint, police found four additional pot brownies in Cook's vehicle, as well as five plastic Ziploc baggies containing marijuana, and a postage box that contained two brownies and two raspberry pastries that contained marijuana.
Cook's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13 at 9 a.m. before District Judge Francis J. Bernhardt.
