Whitemarsh Home Damaged in Sunday Fire

County dispatchers say there were no reported injuries.

A home at 308 Stenton Avenue in Whitemarsh Township was moderately damaged by a fire Sunday night, although there were no reported injuries, authorities say.

Responders from the Barren Hill Fire Company were first dispatched to the residence at about 3:15 p.m., after heavy fire was showing from an attached garage, a Montgomery County emergency dispatcher said. The fire also damaged part of an extension to the home, but was placed under control by about 4:20 p.m., authorities said.

There were no reported injuries, and responders remained at the scene early Sunday evening as they investigated the cause of the fire.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
