Vehicle Fire Near Villanova Causes Backups on 476

Vehicles traveling on the highway saw delays due to a 10:30 a.m. accident on Tuesday.

A vehicle fire on 1-476 northbound caused major traffic delays Tuesday morning nearing the St. David’s exit.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation via its Twitter feed, a tractor-trailer caught fire just before 10:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
