Two Guns Stolen From Home, Police Say

The Lafayette Hill burglary happened during the day, according to police.

Whitemarsh Police said someone stole two guns as part of a residential break-in.

According to police, someone stole a Springfield XD .40-caliber handgun and a Walther P22 handgun from a home in the 200 block of Ridge Pike in Lafayette Hill. The break-in happened on July 3 between 7:15 a.m. and 3:10 p.m., police said.

According to police, one of the residents said he arrived home from work shortly after 3 p.m. and found the front door unlocked; he was not sure when his roommate — who owned the guns — left for work that day.
