Police Investigating Thursday Night Kidnapping, Robbery

Authorities are reportedly searching for four suspects in the kidnapping and robbery of the owner of Shuler's Jewelers in East Norriton.

UPDATE: [2/1/13; 12:10 a.m.] According to Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch, Tredyffrin Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo confirmed that Tredyffrin Police and Chester County Detectives are currently investigating the kidnapping and robbery that originated in their jurisdiction.

The suspects allegedly robbed the owner of Shuler's Jewelers in East Norriton in his Tredyffrin home and then transported him to his store so and robbed his business as well.

East Norriton Police are also investigating and are expected to release additional information sometime Friday morning.

The owner of an East Norriton jewelry store was robbed at his home in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County on Thursday evening and then forced to accompany his robbers to his store, which was then also robbed.

WPVI-TV reported that the unidentified victim was robbed at gunpoint at his home, then taken in his own car to Shuler's Jewelers on West Germantown Pike, where the suspects took an unspecified amount of merchandise before fleeing.

According to reports on Montgomery County public safety radio, the suspects may still be in the victim's white Volkswagen Passat.

Police were still interviewing the victim at the scene late Thursday night.

A group of robbers armed with guns reportedly robbed Shuler's Jewelers on W. Germantown Pike in E. Norriton on Thursday evening. The store was scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m.

Breaking News Network reported that as of 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night, police were looking for four unidentified subjects wearing dark clothing who fled the scene in a Chrysler with Pennsylvania plates.
