Simple Assault at Bed, Bath and Beyond

Just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a domestic incident at Bed, Bath and Beyond, also in the Metroplex.

According to police, Delando Hester, 49, of Philadelphia, had allegedly swung one of his crutches at his girlfriend’s head, cutting her pinkie as she raised her hand to protect herself.

Hester was arrested and charged with Simple assault. During the processing, police learned that Hester had an outstanding arrested warrant out in Philadelphia for Burglary from 2006.
