Police Brief: Christmas Pig Decoration Pilfered

A step down from a 'Baby Jesus' theft?

Whitemarsh Police said someone stole an ornament from a residence in the 2100 block of Basswood Drive in Lafayette Hill. 

The description? An illuminated 3-foot by 3-foot pink pig Christmas decoration. 

According to police, the pig was stolen from the front steps of the home sometime after Dec. 30 at 2 p.m.; it was plugged into an adjacent outlet.

There were no suspicious people seen near the home or the pig around the time of the theft; the illuminated pink pig is worth about $40.
