One Arrested, At Least One on the Loose Following Conshy Burglary

Conshohocken Police catch an alleged burglar in the act; police are still looking for a man who allegedly jumped out of a second-floor window and fled.

Conshohocken Police caught a Philadelphia man while he was allegedly burglarizing an apartment in the unit block of Ash Street late Monday morning; a second man apparently fled through a second-floor window and was picked up by someone driving an SUV, police said.

Marcus Dillard, 22, of the 1300 block of Silver Street, was arrested at about 11:45 a.m. in the apartment after witnesses said that two men, both dressed entirely in black, were knocking on the door of the residence for about 30 minutes. According to police, Dillard, who was standing in the front room of the apartment, was wearing all black clothing with black gloves and there was fresh damage to the apartment’s door frame.

The second man, who ransacked the second-floor bedrooms, jumped out of a second-floor window that was facing Ash Street, fell into the snow and fled on foot, police said.
