Metroplex Target Still Closed following Flooding

Store evacuated Thursday evening.

The Target in the Metroplex Shopping Center, located at 2250 Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting, is still closed today following an unusual flooding incident Thursday night.

According to a report filed at the Plymouth Police Department, water began pouring out of the store's ceiling at approximately 6:25 p.m. Thursday, triggering a water flow alarm and evacuation of the store.

Upon arrival, police found a large pool of water on the floor of the rear center of the store and discovered that several ceiling tiles were missing. A Fire Marshal unit was on scene to conduct an investigation.

A Target employee told Patch on Friday afternoon that the store remained closed, but that they expected to reopen by Saturday morning.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
