Man Arrested for Allegedly Masturbating in a Horse Shed

The Lafayette Hill man was allegedly masturbating in a horse stall on the grounds of Plymouth Meeting Friends School.


Plymouth Township Police arrested an 18-year-old man following a suspicious person call at Plymouth Meeting Friends School in the 2100 block of Butler Pike.

Donald Tyrone Rivers, 18, of the 200 block of Birch Drive, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 26 shortly before 7 p.m. after police made contact with him across the street from the school, according to the criminal complaint.

A witness said that she observed a man, later identified as Rivers, in the horse stalls on the property, according to the complaint. The witness further said that when she was walking by the stalls, she saw the man with his back against the wall and his penis was exposed; he was actively masturbating in the stall, according to the complaint.

A school officials said that staff members asked Rivers if he was OK, according to the complaint. And when Rivers said he was OK, he was told that he shouldn't be on the property.

Rivers was charged with indecent exposure; open lewdness; and disorderly conduct; his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday.

Rivers does not appear to have a criminal history.
