Man Arrested for Alleged Assault, Pot Plant Possession
Plymouth Township Police arrested a man on drugs and weapons charges following an alleged disturbance at his home.
Stephen Decaro Jr., 42, of the 700 block of Belvoir Road, Plymouth Meeting, was arrested Sept. 3 shortly before 6 p.m. after he allegedly struck someone while drunk.
According to police, the victim said that Decaro got angry with him and pushed him in to the wall, causing the victim to break his glasses; Decaro then punched him in the mouth and the forehead, causing injuries.

Decaro then said he was going to kill someone in the house, and made “references” to using his father’s gun or using a “slapjack” that he owned, police said. According to police, when someone in the house threatened to call police, Decaro said, “Go ahead. I’ll shoot them and blow their brains out too.”
During the incident, police said they found a suspected marijuana plant growing in a yellow flowerpot in the backyard. The plant and the slapjack were seized by police.

Decaro was charged with simple assault; terroristic threats; possession with intent to deliver, a felony; and weapons charges.
