Women Charged with Plymouth Meeting Boscov's Retail Theft

Plymouth Township police charged an Elkins Park woman and a Bridgeport woman in relation with an alleged $441.95 retail theft.

An Elkins Park Woman and a Bridgeport woman have been charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy after they allegedly, in a combined effort, stole $441.95 worth of baby items, lingerie, and juniors items from a Boscov’s in Plymouth Meeting on Aug. 14, according to a Plymouth Township police report.

A Plymouth Township police officer responded to a report of alleged retail theft at the Boscov’s around 5:30pm that day and spoke with the store’s loss prevention officer, who claimed that the women, Chenea Baker of Elkins Park and Joy Nelson of Bridgeport, had taken items in various departments and passed multiple points of sale before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.

$441.95 worth of merchandise had allegedly been recovered from Baker and Nelson.  The women were taken into custody by police, who, according to the report, searched the women with no results.
