Lafayette Hill Resident Out Thousands, Police Say

According to police, someone made two unauthorized withdrawals on the man's account.

Whitemarsh Police say someone stole thousands of dollars from a Lafayette Hill man late last month.

According to the police report, the victim, an Arbour Circle man, said someone withdrew $3,700 from his bank account at Sovereign Bank on June 26 … and again on June 27. The man reported the money missing the morning of June 28 at the police station.

According to police, the withdrawals happened at two banks in Elizabeth, N.J.

The victim said he believed someone could have gotten his information by using an old ATM at a gas station on Germantown Pike on June 24.
