Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, Fraud Reported in Whitemarsh
A Whitemarsh woman received calls from a man who said he was outside of her house, among other reports.
Harassment by Communication
A 39-year old Whitemarsh woman reported harassing phone calls from a private number on her business cellphone between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, according to the Whitemarsh Township Police Department.

The woman, from the 2000 block of Spring Mill Road, said that the voice sounded like an “urban, uneducated black male,” and that he described sexually explicit acts that he would perform on her if she came out from her house, according to police.
The woman said that the man addressed her by name, though she believed that could have been obtained by the outgoing voicemail message.

The victim said that her friend from Maryland lost her cell phone at the Franklin Mills Mall just before Christmas, and that her phone number was in the list of contacts.

Disorderly Conduct
Two Norristown men were cited for disorderly conduct, reduced from a narcotic charge, after a traffic stop at Germantown and Butler Pikes in Plymouth Meeting just before 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, according to police.
Derrick Wallace, who was driving a cream-colored Volkswagen, was traveling south on Germantown Pike when he went straight from the turn lane at Butler Pike, police said.
When Wallace was stopped, police detected an odor of marijuana, and allegedly found a partially smoked blunt in the love compartment, police said.
Passenger Johnathan Thompson was allegedly found with Ziploc bags commonly used in the packaging of narcotics, but no other narcotics were found, according to police.
Fraud – Identity Theft
A 51-year-old Whitemarsh man reported to police that he received three letters stating that his applications for credit cards were denied, police said.
The applications were from Web Bank (Bill Me Later) and two from GE Capital Bank (American Eagle).
The victim, of Hawthorne Circle in Lafayette Hill, contacted credit agencies to put a fraud alert on his account.
