Florida Man Arrested in Whitemarsh on DUI Charges

The man allegedly struck another car while driving a rental car.

Whitemarsh Police arrested a Florida man last week following a traffic stop near the corner of Station Avenue and Hector Street.

Scott Alexander Bell, 50, of the 10000 block of Lippizan Drive, Jacksonville, was arrested Dec. 5 shortly before 2 a.m. after he was seen swerving and driving with a broken tail lamp and silver paint transfer, police said.

According to police, Bell said he was driving to his hotel from a company Christmas party, where he had been drinking.
