Police discovered two bodies Sunday after a 911 caller requested a well-being cheek.

The Montgomery County District Attorney has announced a joint investigation with Plymouth Township Police Chief Joseph Lawrence into two shooting deaths that occurred Sunday in the township.

Police were called to a home at 16 Wilmer Ave. around 5 p.m. Sunday after a 911 caller requested a well-being check on the occupants of the home, the District Attorney's Office said.

Upon entering the home, police found a man and a woman, each dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

Autopsies ruled that the woman's death was a homicide and the man's a suicide, the District Attorney's Office said.
