Cops: Stripper Stole Car From Club's Lot

The 23-year-old dancer faces a pair of felony charges.

A 23-year-old employee of Conshohocken's 7th Heaven Gentleman's Club is currently behind bars, after police say she stole a fellow dancer's car earlier this month.

Nichole Apgar, formerly of Rockledge, has been charged with two felony counts of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, along with a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, in connection with the incident.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the county courts, Whitemarsh Police first responded to the club at about 2:26 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, after they received a report of the theft. Police spoke to another dancer at the club, who said that she had walked out to her blue 2007 BMW 328 XI to go home and discovered it was missing. She then also found that her keys were missing from her purse.

According to a police affadavit, police reviewed video surveillance tapes with staff. In the footage, police allegedly saw Apgar reach into the victim's purse while it was sitting on a table in a dressing room earlier that night. Several employees also told police they saw Apgar looking visibly upset earlier in the night, and that she had run out the back door, breaking the usual protocol of dancers being escorted to their vehicles by security. Footage also showed Apgar getting into the victim's car and leaving, police said.

Whitemarsh Police subsequently learned that Philadelphia Police had made a traffic stop of the car. Apgar allegedly told Philadelphia Police that she had permission to drive the vehicle. Apgar was later taken into custody and is currently in Montgomery County prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. She next faces a preliminary hearing on Nov. 29 before magisterial justice Deborah Lukens.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
