Conshy Man Crashes in Burger King Drive-Through, Spits and Flees, Police Say

The 19-year-old man was also arrested earlier this year on aggravated assault charges.

Plymouth Township Police arrested a Conshohocken man earlier this month after he allegedly crashed into a car in a Burger King drive-through, spit on a woman and then fled, while drunk.

Russhon Ray Phillips, of the 300 block of Spring Mill Avenue, was charged with fleeing and eluding police, DUI, resisting arrest and related charges stemming from an alleged incident on Dec. 14 at the restaurant in the 400 block of Ridge Pike.

According to police, Phillips rear-ended a vehicle while in the drive-through of the Burger King shortly after 3 a.m.; when the complainants exited the vehicle and asked to exchange insurance information with Phillips, Phillips told them that he wasn't going to provide the information. Following an argument, Phillips spit on one of the complainants, tried to kick one of them and threatened to assault her, police said.
