Conshy Man Charged with Loitering and Prowling at Night

The man has also been arrested twice on burglary charges.

Whitemarsh Police on Monday arrested a Conshohocken man after he was seen walking around a house in the 2100 block of Joshua Road at about 1 a.m.

Gregory Ramseyer, of the 200 block of Roberts Avenue, Conshohocken, was arrested and charged with loitering and prowling at night, public drunkenness and drug charges after the homeowner saw him walking around her property, police said.

According to police, the homeowner said she was awoken by her dogs barking and looked out the window and saw the man, later identified as Ramseyer, walking around in the dark near vehicles in the back of her property; he then began to walk toward the front of the house.

The homeowner made contact with Ramseyer, 31, who said his name was Greg and that he was an electrician, police said. Ramseyer then walked off of the homeowner’s property, while dragging a suitcase, according to police, and was arrested a short time later.

Ramseyer was found to have two prescription bottles in a suitcase and duffel bag he was carrying, police said; the bottles had the name of someone else written on them.
