Burglary in Conshy

The burglary happened in the 200 block of West 11th Avenue, according to police.

Someone broke into a Conshohocken home this week, and stole some (probably very heavy) money.

According to Conshohocken Police, someone broke into a house in the 200 block of West 11th Avenue between Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 the following morning. The resident, who had been on a day trip, returned to find her front door slightly open; she then found that her back door was damaged and forced open. 

The resident said she expected her valuables to be stolen, but instead, found that only a large glass jar, containing about $400 in loose change, had been taken from her bedroom, police said.

According to police, the resident's laptop, jewelry and entertainment equipment was still inside her house. 

Officers did not find any intruders in the house, police said.
