Virginia A. Jackson, Formerly of Conshohocken

Jackson's funeral service will be held today.

Virginia A. “Ginny” (McCall) Jackson, of Norristown, formerly of Conshohocken, died Saturday, Dec. 28 at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She was 74.

Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (Atkins) McCall.

She worked as a shipping coordinator with Lukens Steel of Conshohocken, and was a former member of the Junior Women’s Club and Red Hat Society.

Jackson is survived by a son, Walter of Norristown; two daughters, Tracey Ann Singer of Philadelphia and Dana Pettine of West Norriton; a brother, William McCall of Conshohocken; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jackson Jr.

Jackson’s funeral serive will be held Thursday, Jan. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Moore, Snear and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. 

Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
