Ross A. Noblit, Owned Service Center in Conshohocken

Noblit was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church of Conshohocken and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Ross A. Noblit, of Harleysville, formerly of Conshohocken, died Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Peter Becker Community of Harleysville. He was 88. 

He was the husband of Alice (Hein) Noblit.

Born in West Conshohocken, he was the son of the late Beirdella (Arters) and Ross Noblit. 

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was the former owner and operator of the Exxon Service Station at 7th and Fayette Street in Conshohocken. He was also a member of the Conshohocken No. 2 Fire Co.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Betty Ann Smith of Fayetteville, N.C., Carol Volz of Plymouth Meeting, Cheryl Kelly of Eagleville; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Constance Thim and Virginia Knoeller. 
Noblit’s funeral service was held Saturday. Interment was in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
