Robert R. Wischhusen, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Graduate

Wischhusen played soccer at PWHS and was also a Delaware Valley College graduate; his services are today.

Robert R."Bob" Wischhusen, of Norristown, formerly of Flourtown, died Friday, Nov. 29 in the Fox Chase Cancer Center. He was 62. 

Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Raymond and Elvera Staley Wischhusen, who died Nov. 24. 

Wischhusen was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Class of 1969, and was a member of its soccer team. He was also a graduate of the Delaware Valley College, with a degree in food science.

He was a packaging engineer at Package Automation

Wischhusen is survived by his wife Fern (Granoff) Wischhusen; a daughter, Victoria Wischhusen of Flourtown; two sisters, Cate Anderson of Maple Glen and Jean Hayes of Mobile, Ala.

Friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Road, Lafayette Hill. Services will be held at 11 a.m.

Interment will be private. Family and friends are also invited to Shiva at his residence. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
