Elizabeth Allen, Formerly of Lafayette Hill
Allen was a member of the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
Elizabeth (Betty) Allen died Sunday, Nov. 24 at Meadowood Senior Living. She was 95.
Allen was the mother of Peirce A. Hammond III and Holliday Hammond.
She grew up in Narberth and lived for 40 years in Lafayette Hill before moving to Meadowood. She was a graduate of Lower Merion High School and Peirce Business School and worked as a legal secretary. She was married to Charles W. S. Allen for 40 years.

Allen and her husband belonged to Whitemarsh Valley Country Club where Betty was an avid and accomplished bridge player and enjoyed playing golf.

A life celebration will be held Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. at Meadowood Senior Living, 3205 Skippack Pike, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Meadowood Nature Preserve at the address above.
