Anne DeChant Died on Tuesday, May 8

DeChant, formerly of Eagleville, died at the Woodview Estates in Mays Landing, NJ, where she had been living recently.

Anne H. (Holland) DeChant, age 91, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Woodview Estates in Mays Landing, NJ where she had been a resident. Mrs. DeChant, who was formerly of Eagleville, was the widow of the late Robert M. DeChant.

Born in Conshohocken, on July 31, 1920, Anne was a daughter to the late Edmund and Sara (Krigbaum) Holland. Before her retirement, Mrs. DeChant was a secretary at the Eagleville Elementary School. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Norristown and a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Seniors Club.

Her daughters Robin Mottershead of Dennis Township, NJ, and Beth Weinstein of Suffern, NY, survive her. She is a devoted grandmother to Kelly Mottershead, Whitney Mottershead, Michael Weinstein and Jeff Weinstein, and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who also survive her.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Anne's life celebration on Monday, May 14, beginning at 11 a.m. at the of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, (1-800-GIVNISH). Her funeral services are at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow the service in , 200 S. Montgomery Avenue, Norristown, PA 19403.

Small quibble perhaps, however, last time I checked, Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon were both in WestRead More Conshohocken, not Conshohocken. Credit where credit is due, please. I'm terribly proud of my hometown, you see.
