Albert R. Olivieri, of Whitemarsh., died Thursday Dec. 19 in the Saint Joseph's Villa in Flourtown. He was 78.
Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Andrico and Vera Mancini Olivieri.
Olivieri was a graduate of Springfield High School. Following school he entered the U.S. Army during the Korean War Conflict and often performed in the USO with his remarkable pianist skills.

He was a retired Highway Manager for Whitemarsh Township.

He is survived by his wife, Inge U. (Butter )Hammond Olivieri; two daughters, Kimberly and Suzanne; one son, Timothy; one brother, John Olivieri of Lafayette Hill; and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Joseph,Anthony,Charles and Rita Olivieri Farrell.
His funeral service and interment will be private.
