The Highlands Craft Show
The Highlands Craft Show is celebrating its 32nd year on October 19th and 20th. The show will be hosted for the second year in the Field House at Germantown Academy, one mile down the road from The Highlands historic mansion, easily accessible from the Lafayette Avenue Connector off Bethlehem Pike, in Montgomery County, Fort Washington, PA. Open to the public on Saturday from 10 to 5 and on Sunday from 10 to 4, the show will host a diverse group of more than 55 artists who will exhibit unique handcrafted creations, including clothing, accessories, bags, decorative fibers, furniture, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry and more.
This is a juried show, with a three-person jury of craft and art professionals from the Philadelphia area. There will be a mix of favorite artists from previous years along with emerging artists, all of whom excel in craftsmanship and originality. Exhibitors will be on hand to visit with shoppers and discuss their work. Several exhibitors will be sharing demonstrations of their craft.
Admission is $8; children under 2 are free. A light lunch, snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase. Ample paved parking is on site and free.
