PW High School to Present 'Guys and Dolls' This Weekend [EDITED]

Performances will be held Thursday through Saturday.

 

The Colonial Players at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School are putting the finishing touches on their production of “Guys and Dolls,” which they will perform this week.

PWHS Math teacher Mickey Engel is directing the production, this romantic comedy includes vivid characters – missionary Sarah Brown, played by Sammy Schwartz, gambler Sky Masterson, played by Bryan Hoffman, who tries to win over Sarah’s heart in a bet, nightclub performer Adelaide, played by Kelly Letter, and her 14-year fiancé Nathan Detroit, played by Ross Weisman.

Songs from the production include “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” “If I Were a Bell” and “Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat.”

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday. For tickets, visit the Colonial Players website.
