Plymouth Township's Red, White & Blue Bash Features Games and the 78th Army Band

Plymouth Township will hold its Red, White & Blue Bash on Thursday, August 1, which will feature a concert by the 78th Army Band, a moon bounce for kids, face-painting, and more.

The Bash, which will be held at Community Center Park, at the amphitheater behind the Greater Plymouth Community Center, will begin at 5:30pm with an ongoing moon bounce, then the strolling entertainer Uncle Sam Stilt Walker at 6pm.  A ground-breaking ceremony for the township’s Service and Devotion Monument will begin at 6:30pm.  The 78th Army Band will play from 7pm to 9pm.  From 5:30pm to 9:30pm families can participate in a pie-eating contest, purchase inexpensive picnic food, play carnival games, and compete in a hula hoop contest.

Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.  There is a small cost to participate, and all proceeds go towards the Service and Devotion Monument.
