New Location, Race Course Planned for Conshy FunFest

The Sept. 21 event, benefiting various Conshohocken non-profit organizations, will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Conshohocken FunFest is moving to Sutcliffe Park for its 21st year on Sept. 21, and the 5K run/walk will have a new course.

The event, which raises money for local charities, will kick off with a 5K run/walk through Conshohocken, beginning at 10 a.m. and winding through the west side of Conshohocken before returning to the park.

Throughout the day, FunFest goers can enjoy a kids corner, including inflatable rides, games and interactive inflatables, as well as other attractions.

A D.J. will begin at 11 a.m., followed by Craig Allen Solo, The Nicole Zell Band and Rick Reinhart & Friends Band.

Conshy’s premier Indie Art and Craft Fair, organized by Conshy Crafters, will offer “unique and creative home décor and accessories.”

The event will also boast plenty of food, including cheesesteaks, pork sandwiches, sweet and more, as well as a beer garden.

The main event sponsor is the Greater Conshohocken Merchants and Professionals Association, and platinum sponsors Albert Einstein Healthcare Network and Conshohocken Italian Bakery.  For a full list of sponsors, click here.

The event benefits local charities such as The Fellowship House of Conshohocken, the Colonial Neighborhood Council, Conshohocken Fire Police and Conshohocken Free Library.
