A Vintage Baseball Exhibition, played by 1864 rules between the Mt. Airy Stars 16U team and the Potter Baseball Tour. Guided by the Philadelphia Athletic Vintage Baseball Club.
Baseball, in it's early days as a community game. No gloves. Wool uniforms and funny mustaches. The "ballist" from the Philadelphia Athletics will teach a group of Mt. Airy kids and a barnstorming group called the Potter Baseball Tour how to play the game in it's earliest form. On the lawn of the New Covenant campus.
Bring a lawn chair, enjoy an ice cream from the Trolley Car diner and see the local boys of summer play it the old fashioned way!
