 s a jazz double-bassist with over 2\,000 albums to his credit. He is amo
 ng the most influential living jazz musicians and has worked with giants
  like Miles Davis\, B.B. King and A Tribe Called Quest.\nThe master bass
 ist is also the recipient of two Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Instrumenta
 l Group with the Miles Davis Tribute Band and &ldquo\;Call Sheet Blues\,
 &rdquo\; in 1993 and 1998 respectively\, and has also worked with numero
 us universities\, teaching students the business of music.\nThe performa
