Cantina Feliz Owners Sues Ambler Restaurateur Over Name

According to Philly.com, the owners of Cantina Feliz in Fort Washington are suing an Ambler man who wants to open a restaurant in the borough called Taco Feliz.

According to Philly.com, Brian Sirhal and Tim Spinner, owners of Cantina Feliz in Fort Washington, have filed a lawsuit against Rene Hernandez Zepeda, of Ambler, attempting to block him from naming his restaurant “Taco Feliz.” Mexican-native Zepeda told Philly.com that he did not know Cantina Feliz existed two miles away, and that the word “feliz” is a common name for restaurants in his home country. Southern Cross Kitchen Unveils Summer Specials

Sunday dinners, half-priced sandwiches, and bourbon and beer are on tap.

  Southern Cross Kitchen, one of Conshohocken’s newest restaurants at 8 East First Ave., just unveiled new summer specials. On Sundays, the restaurant offers a family style dinner for four or more for $25 per person – the Bayside Supper includes snow crab legs, corn on the cob, old bay french fries, biscuits and cornbread, and sweet tea.  The Front Porch Pickin’ meal includes buttermilk fried chicken, “the best mac and cheese you’ll ever have,” braised collard greens, biscuits and cornbread. In the Biz Night is on Mondays, and includes half price sandwiches, $5 drinks and $2 domestic drafts.
