What next ? Banning certain kinds of toothpaste, shampoo? Giving us a direct menu for the day? Do you nuts that voted for this man see what is going on right before your eyes or are you all just deciding to stay in your own little worlds allowing him to try to run your lives ? Do you people honestly want and need someone to run your lives? Grow up already.
The progressives just won't stop. Reducing the size of soft drinks, discontinuing King size candy bars, taking salt off the tables in restaurants, enforcing new dietary guidelines , kids are being suspended for bringing water and paper guns to school and now King Ass Obama thinks football is too violent and wants to change it. This guy really needs to EFF OFF, stop trying to run our lives and stick with what he is supposed to do. Enough is enough already. After 4 more years of this crap.........I do hope AMERICANS wake the hell up and VOTE DEMOCRATS out of power. They are not Democrats anymore but morphed into Socialist Progressives. Look it up. This will get pretty bad.

Did you actually read the comments the president made, or do you just see "Obama" in a headline and decide that whatever he said must be wrong, so therefore you're going to go yell about it on the internet?
It was an OPINION not some kind of directive from the government! The Orlando Sentinel headline is misleading. The direct quote was:
"I think that those of us who love the sport are going to have to wrestle with the fact that it will probably change gradually to try to reduce some of the violence," Obama said.
He didn't say he's going to change football, he said it will probably change. He was expressing concern for the health of young men who play football, not telling everyone what to do.
Suddenly he's not allowed to have an opinion and you are?
Oh, and by the way, you still haven't explained your misogynistic opinion on one of the Newtown stories that women wanting to work and be equal is responsible for all the violence in this country. How about you go take a stab at that before you start another screechy right-wing post?

No one's feelings are being hurt by this. "Progressives" find clowns like yourself to be absolutely hilarious.
It's also interesting that, with the Swartz affair and the governments excessive punishment of that young man leading to his suicide being in the news right now, instead of focusing on that, you're titling at windmills about Obama trying to control football. It's fairly obvious to anyone who can read at a second grade level that Obama was not offering some sort of legislative plan about fixing the sport, so I can understand why you may have missed that.

Squidward Tentacles

Ok, help me out here... Please tell me what about my post is "not true"? Yes, I am a college grad. Yes I did vote republican in this past election. And yes, I know a slew of others who hold my same political view, but unlike yourself, I don't choose my friends based on their views because in reality, I could care less what they are. So again, please tell me what's false here? (Hint hint: nothing) Additionally, your argument about being in the minority and therefore "uninformed" is completely ludicrous. The results of the 2012 election popular vote was 51% to 47% favoring the democratic party, hardly a minority. That would imply that nearly 50% of the American population voted republican. Once again, I think you need to get up to speed on your facts and not get too full of yourself.

No climate change .....No Amnesty......NO gay marriage.......No Gun control. Pretty much sucks when you think you have it all but you really have NOTHING. Republicans speak for their constituents, the
Obama and his party controlled Both Houses in Congress from 2006- 2010 so there was the Progressives big chance but in 2010 the Republicans pulled the rug up from under your feet.
