Traffic: Hickory Road in Plymouth Expected to Close

A rundown of week's expected traffic patterns.

 

PennDOT announced via a release that Hickory Road in Plymouth is expected to see short-term closures for the week of Dec. 12.

Hickory Road will be closed between Germantown Pike and Narcissa Road from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the release, due to ongoing construction of Interstate 476 in Plymouth.

Plymouth:

  • Township Line Road will be closed between Arch St. Road and Union Meeting Road from 8 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday and from 9 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday.

The Blue Route:

  • I-476 North: Lane closures are scheduled between the Interstate 76 and Pennsylvania Turnpike Mid-County interchanges Monday through Thursday, Dec. 12-15, from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. each day. Work on Friday, Dec. 16, will start at 9 p.m. and continue until Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8 a.m.
  • I-476 South: Lane closures are scheduled between the Pennsylvania Turnpike Mid-County interchange and I-76 Monday through Thursday, Dec. 12-15, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
