Welcome to the week of Monday, April 9th to Sunday, April 15th.

With the exception of Conshohocken Borough offices being closed Monday, things are back in full swing after the holiday weekend.

A few things to look out for this week:

• The annual PWSD Art Show, opening 5 p.m. on Thursday at Colonial Elementary School.
• The 2012 Housing Fair, held 10 a.m. on Saturday at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
• An open house visit from the PA Turnpike commission to give construction updates, scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Greater Plymouth Community Center.
• The annual Plymouth Township Fishing Derby, scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday at East Plymouth Valley Park.
• The 6th Annual AWARE Walk, scheduled for 8 a.m. at the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

The Colonial sports teams have a busy week, with many facing league foes Cheltenham and Upper Dublin this week. The district will also hold its monthly School Board general meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m.

In Whitemarsh Township, residents should be aware of a joint Board of Supervisors/Planning Agency workshop meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and a regularly scheduled Supervisors general meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

In Plymouth Township, residents may be interested in an improvement meeting regarding the Sandy Hill/Belvoir Roads intersection at 6 p.m. on Monday, followed by the regular monthly council meeting.

Conshohocken holds a number of borough committee meetings this week, including a Public Safety and Parking meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
