Sat: MOVES Bike Safety Clinic Coming to Conshy
Activities include helmet and bike fittings and bicycle safety presentations.
The Montgomery County Health Department’s MOVES Project (Making Occupant and Vehicle Environments Safe) and the Conshohocken Police Department are hosting a Bike Checkpoint Saturday, June 16 from 8:00am to 1:00pm along the Schuylkill River Trailhead in Conshohocken. Activities include helmet and bike fittings and bicycle safety presentations.
The MOVES Project is focused on safety programming regarding bicycle safety, seat belt usage, school bus safety and etiquette, teen driving, impaired driving, and pedestrian safety. Programs are available to the community and all schools in Montgomery County free of charge through a grant from PennDOT.
The trailhead can be found at the corner of Harry Street and Railroad Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428, across from the Conshohocken Train Station.
