Ridge Pike Checkpoint Nets Nine DUIs, Citations

Occurred Friday night into Saturday morning.

 

A DUI checkpoint set up at 255 Ridge Pike, near the Green Valley Country Club, netted nine suspected offenses this past weekend.

The first violation occurred at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, May 18, and the last occurred at 12:55 a.m on Saturday morning. Two individuals were arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, while seven were given reduced citations for possessions of narcotics.

Officers from Whitemarsh, Abington, Upper Dublin, and Upper Moreland Police Departments participated in the operation. The suspected offenders were as follows:

10:40 p.m.: Citation for reduced narcotic: Tiffany McField, 29, 3828 North 10th Street, Philadelphia.

11:45 p.m.: DUI -drugs. Lady Vouse, 18, 511 Norma Lane, Norristown.

12 a.m.: Citation for reduced narcotic. Jake Bechtel, 19, 220 Kings Road, Whitemarsh.

12:17: Citation for reduced narcotic. Jeffrey Clarke, 56, 3548 Scotts Lane, Philadelphia.

12:30: Citation for reduced narcotic. Edward Foster, 18, 443 North 6th Street, Allentown, Pa.

12:35 a.m.: Citation for reduced narcotic. Peter Mahoney-Fields, 27, 2661 Roberts Avenue, Philadelphia.

12:37 a.m.: Citation for reduced narcotic. John Childs-Taylor, 30, 2917 West Norris Street, Philadelphia.

12:55 a.m.: Citation for reduced narcotic. Edward Lee Henry, 38, 1606 W 4th Street, Wilmington, Dela.

12:55 a.m.: Driving Under the Influence. Brian Milakeve, 32, 10 Belfast Drive, North Wales.

Kraut, according to a member of the police department I spoke with, a reduced narcotic citation is usually given when the person had in their possession a small amount of a controlled substance.
