Poll Results: Ye Voted an Ale House as Best Family Restaurant

We asked, you decided.

In the 1994 Quebec General Election, when the polls closed after 38,894 votes had been cast, incumbent Liberal Michel Charbonneau and Parti Québécois candidate Roger Paquin found themselves in a perfect tie for the lead. Though a by-election was held 42 days later—which Paquin won by 532 votes—it’s, to this day, regarded as the closest large election in world political history.

Our poll of the was nothing like that. snared 71 percent of total votes—no other eatery took more than ten percent—and rolled to the title of ‘PW’s Best Family-Friendly Restaurant.’

The Lafayette Hill restaurant hangs its hat on items as diverse as mussels in red or white sauce, little neck clams, cold shrimp, buffalo wings, mozzerella sticks, pizza, french fries, hot and cold sandwiches, and a range of entrees and other platters.
